Volunteer positions vary according to the time of year and present need. All volunteers
working with Child Find Nova Scotia are expected to be committed to the issue of missing
children and be enthusiastic, positive and honest.
Do You Have 4-8 Hours A Month To Help With The Following:
- Fingerprinting children in your community.
- Setting up and staffing information booths in shopping malls and local events.
- Help with distribution of flyers, posters and brochures.
- Giving educational presentations to children, parents and caregivers.
- Assisting in the planning and co-ordination of fundraising and promotional
activities.
- Assisting at fundraising events - sales, decoration, donation box campaign.
- Assisting and planning Green Ribbon of Hope Campaign in May. The committee starts in
January.
- Office Assistance - Filing, phoning, mailing, photocopying and computer work.
